Very Happy
Expect me to be even more proud of myself than usual, because a few days ago I got word that I've got into King's! KCL has accepted me onto the MPhilStud programme (a two-year Master's course after which I could take a two-year PhD course (!)) for philosophy. I am Super Excited, and now scrabbling around applying for funding. This has provided a welcome relief from the various shit that has come into sudden contact with various fans, on which more later post-resolution.

But! Happy!

Hurrah! :) And yes, you could then do 2 years afterward for a PhD, since an MPhil is basically the first year of the PhD - after my first year I had to have an "upgrade", as apparently (here at least) all PhD students begin as MPhils and are upgraded if they pass certain standards. Curious, eh? Anyway, I'm really glad you got onto your course. Postgrad life is good.

I think MPhilStud isn't MPhil? I don't know, I've never heard of MPhilStud outside of King's... I'm reading for my Master's, anyway, that's all I'm sure of.
